Duties of a MOT Technician

• Provide expert technical support across various vehicle makes and models
• Conduct comprehensive vehicle servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and testing
• Assist colleagues with complex diagnostic procedures and technical issues
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards
• Perform test drives and diagnostics as required, maintaining a valid driving license
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service

Requirements of a MOT Technician

• Minimum Level 2 Vehicle Technician qualification or equivalent
• Proven dealership experience preferred but not essential
• Ability to perform advanced diagnostics and repairs
• Own tools are essential; full UK driving license required (no more than 6 points)
• Certification in EV technology is a distinct advantage
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills
• Committed to delivering quality work and customer satisfaction
• Full-time, time-served experience with relevant professional qualifications
