Associate Director, OT & Cybersecurity

Overview

As part of the OT & Cybersecurity practice within Jacobs’ Digital & Data business, you will lead complex OT and cybersecurity engagements for critical national infrastructure. You’ll combine technical leadership with people development and client engagement to grow the practice and shape delivery across energy, water, aviation and rail. This role offers influence on major programmes, opportunities to mentor teams, and to drive growth in a collaborative environment. You will balance strategy, delivery, and business development to strengthen security and resilience for mission‑critical environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of complex OT and cybersecurity engagements for critical infrastructure clients and act as trusted advisor to senior stakeholders
• Solve operational technology security and engineering challenges across diverse projects with a focus on high-quality delivery
• Mentor and develop capability within the team and contribute to the growth of the practice
• Build and sustain relationships across Jacobs and client organisations, identifying opportunities for growth and supporting new business development
• Balance technical leadership, people development, and client engagement in a collaborative environment

Key requirements

• Strong OT experience in critical national infrastructure sectors (energy, water, rail)
• Experience leading teams and developing people in high-performing, collaborative environments
• Track record delivering complex OT, cybersecurity, or engineering programmes with senior client stakeholders
• Solid understanding of OT security principles and ability to lead across multidisciplinary teams
• Commercial awareness and ability to identify growth opportunities while maintaining client relationships
• Experience from consulting, utilities, engineering services, or regulated environments (advantageous)
