If you’re an experienced Vehicle Technician who enjoys a good mix of mechanical work, diagnostics and keeping busy in the workshop, this could be worth a look.

We’re recruiting for a Technician to join an established workshop, working on a variety of vehicles and carrying out everything from routine servicing and repairs through to fault-finding and diagnostics.

The role

• Carry out routine servicing and maintenance
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults
• Carry out vehicle inspections and identify any additional work required
• Complete mechanical repairs to a high standard
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults
• Carry out MOT preparation work
• Keep accurate records of work completed
• Work efficiently to agreed timescales while maintaining a high standard of workmanship

About you

• Level 3 qualified preferred, but experience is more important
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• MOT licence would be a bonus
• MOT training available for the right person
• Full UK driving licence required

Benefits

• £36,000-£40,000 basic, depending on experience
• OTE up to £50,000 based on time saved
• 39 hours per week
• Monday-Friday, 08:30-17:15
• 1 in 4 Saturdays, 08:00-12:00
