Senior Quantity Surveyor

Overview

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor in the @one Alliance, you will manage commercial activities for a defined area within a major infrastructure programme and lead a team of commercial professionals. You will ensure robust governance, accurate reporting, and effective risk management to support Anglian Water’s 2.6 billion infrastructure investment. You’ll foster close collaboration with delivery and operations teams while driving process efficiencies. This role offers significant impact in delivering essential civil and water treatment projects with a strong focus on commercial integrity and stakeholder alignment.

Responsibilities

• Commercial management of the allocated area
• Provide transparent, accurate, and timely commercial reporting
• Adhere to internal governance to satisfy contractual and legal requirements
• Identify and deliver commercial process efficiencies and manage financial and commercial risk
• Foster close working relationships with programme delivery and operational teams
• Line management, coaching and developing commercial direct reports

Key requirements

• Awareness of NEC3 forms of contract, construction and contract law
• Full UK driving licence
• Experience of Quantity Surveying, data analysis and reporting
• Experience of managing a team across a matrix environment
• Commercial acumen
