Associate IT Engineer

Overview

In this role you will support IT projects end-to-end, delivering hardware/software builds and system integration while engaging with customers and project teams. You’ll apply a broad range of IT concepts across Windows, Linux, networking and virtualization to implement, test and document IT solutions. The role sits within a collaborative, on-site Farnborough team focused on cutting-edge defence technology. You’ll contribute to lifecycle activities from conception through in-service, delivering clear outputs and pragmatic solutions. This is a hands-on opportunity to impact project delivery in a high-tech, mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hardware/software builds and system installation/integration
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Produce technical outputs such as documentation, test plans, user guides, and design/process documents
• Undertake tasks with moderate guidance
• Contribute across IT project lifecycle from conception to in-service

Key requirements

• Previous experience in an IT engineering role
• Broad concepts and principles across IT
• Broad experience with Windows Client/Server Infrastructure, Networking, Virtualisation (Hyper-V) and Linux
