Head of Planned Maintenance

Overview

In this role you lead the Planned Maintenance division, delivering maintenance projects for Housing Associations and Registered Providers. You drive tendering, contract and commercial management, and oversee both subcontractors and directly employed staff. You will liaise with clients to secure contracts and ensure delivery across multiple schemes. This is a growth-focused opportunity at a contractor expanding due to new awards, with scope to shape the team and bring in new talent. You will help sustain high service standards across planned and response maintenance while supporting the housing market.

Responsibilities

• Head the Planned Maintenance division and oversee multiple contracts
• Lead tendering and bid preparation
• Manage contract performance, commercial aspects and budgets
• Liaise with clients and housing associations to secure work
• Oversee subcontractors and direct employees to deliver projects
• Coordinate response maintenance and planned maintenance activities
• Recruit and develop team members as part of growth
