Advisory Consultant (Social Value)

Overview

In this role, you will lead and support social value initiatives across major infrastructure projects. You will work with the Economics & Economics Development team to shape social value plans, monitor performance, and report outcomes to clients. You will collaborate with partners and stakeholders to maximise value and support business development through tender submissions. Responsibilities

• Lead and support social value work across multiple infrastructure projects
• Create social value action plans and coordinate delivery of initiatives
• Develop and maintain monitoring & evaluation frameworks to track targets
• Produce client-ready social value reports using established frameworks
• Manage day-to-day client relationships and coordinate with third-party contractors
• Provide guidance to clients to enhance social value delivery and share best practices
• Support new social value work-winning opportunities and proposals

Key requirements

• Proven experience in social value work within a consultancy or client organization
• Understanding of Public Sector Services Act 2012, PPN 001 & PPN002 and related planning and regeneration legislation
• Experience writing social value tender submissions and supporting business development
• Experience engaging with partners or stakeholders to maximise social value outcomes
• Data analysis, management and presentation skills; strong Excel; experience with Social Value Portal TOMs and THRIVE advantageous
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, including leading meetings
