Overview
As Head of Vertical Transportation, you steer the VT team within Ramboll’s Buildings Advisory & Consultancy. You will shape strategy, nurture talent, and expand the team to a market-leading level on a global portfolio. You’ll lead client engagement and bid activity, translating project opportunities into sustainable, innovative solutions. Your role blends leadership with client-facing excellence to drive growth and cross-functional collaboration. This is a hands-on opportunity to influence large-scale vertical transport projects and the firm’s sustainability ambitions.

Responsibilities
- Set direction for the Vertical Transportation team and drive its growth by leading by example
- Develop and implement the team strategy aligned with Ramboll’s national services
- Foster an open, inclusive culture and manage people development, performance, and training
- Encourage collaboration across the team, other business units, and the wider company
- Lead work winning, business development, and marketing activities, including materials and client presentations
- Build and maintain a professional image as a knowledgeable client contact
- Take the lead on preparing competitive bids and proposals to secure projects
