Associate – Valuation Advisory

Overview

In this Valuation Surveyor role, you will provide valuation advice across industrial, office, and retail sectors for lenders, investors, and developers. You will operate within a collaborative regional and national team, delivering reports and insights under RICS Red Book standards. You’ll support business development while building strong client relationships and contributing to cross-team collaboration. The position offers a path within a leading global real estate adviser, with regional focus and national support, in Leeds.

Responsibilities

• Undertake valuations for secured lending, financial reporting, acquisitions and disposals, portfolio analysis, and strategic advisory work
• Carry out inspections and prepare valuation reports in accordance with RICS Red Book standards
• Deliver valuation advice across Industrial & Logistics, Offices, and High street/out-of-town retail
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and support business development in the regional market
• Collaborate with agency, capital markets, lease advisory, and wider valuation teams; contribute to team culture and collaborative practices

Key requirements

• MRICS qualified and RICS Registered Valuer preferred
• Experience within commercial valuation advisory
• Strong exposure to industrial, office, and retail property sectors
• Experience preparing valuation reports for lending and institutional purposes
• Strong analytical, organisational, and report-writing skills
• Ability to manage workload effectively and work both independently and collaboratively
• Full UK driving licence required
