Overview
In this role you will help ensure reliable access to real-time market data across a cloud-enabled platform. You will join the London team to monitor, deploy, and improve the Market Data stack, collaborating with internal squads and external vendors. You’ll influence tooling and automation, support cloud migration initiatives, and participate in architecture transformations. This is a hands-on position with a clear impact on uptime and delivery quality, within a hybrid, team-focused culture.

Responsibilities
- Provide 1st and 2nd line support for London and Mumbai squads, triaging and escalating issues as needed
- Identify gaps in Ops monitoring and tooling and implement effective solutions
- Respond to internal and external requests promptly and resolve them within agreed SLAs
- Deploy, configure and test new software/updates to the Market Data stack on behalf of Development teams
- Create and update documentation to maintain the Ops knowledge base
- Accept reasonable training and work hours aligned with role responsibilities
Key requirements
- 2+ years’ experience in a Technical Operations / SRE role
- Excellent English communication skills
- Working knowledge of Windows Server flavours and Wintel hardware
- Knowledge of network stacks, protocols and technologies
- Scripting competency in PowerShell and/or Python
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk or New Relic
- Experience with CI/CD tooling (GitHub, Bitbucket, Harness, Kubernetes, Terraform)
- Ability to work independently and in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
- Financial services industry experience is a plus, not required
