Digital Project Leader UK&I-North

Overview

In this role you will steer end-to-end UNICORN and IT/automation projects, guiding concept through deployment across Cytiva’s digital and service portfolios. You will partner with cross-functional teams to embed automation into existing processes, manage plans, budgets and resources, and ensure compliant, high-impact implementations. You will monitor progress, report to stakeholders, and conduct post-implementation reviews to quantify efficiency, cost savings and quality gains. You will mentor colleagues and foster a culture of continuous improvement while contributing to Cytiva’s mission to accelerate health science solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end lifecycle of UNICORN/IT/automation projects from concept to implementation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and integrate into processes
• Oversee implementation and deployment of IT technologies ensuring compliance with standards
• Track progress, communicate updates to stakeholders, and conduct post-implementation impact reviews
• Train and mentor team members in the digital portfolio and foster continuous improvement

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or IT professional background
• Experience with MS SQL installation, instance creation, and SQL Server Management Studio
• Knowledge of backup/restore and SQL script editing
• Networking skills (TCP/UDP, firewall) and Windows operating systems
• Experience with UNICORN controlling software and Biacore Insight software; ability to discuss OPC and DeltaV integration
