RF Team Leader

Overview

In this role you lead and grow the RF design team at Sepura, shaping the next generation of mission-critical radios. You will own end-to-end RF design for radio terminal products and ensure robust delivery across subsystems and certification. Your leadership enables fast, high-quality solutions for global customers in safety-critical markets. Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the RF design team, allocate resources, and drive performance reviews
• Provide strong technical leadership within RF discipline and mentor junior engineers
• Oversee design and delivery of RF circuitry for radio terminals, including end-to-end subsystem design and integration with RF system and baseband
• Specify, evaluate, and source components; create design test documentation; supervise schematic and PCB layout
• Translate requirements into robust engineering solutions; resolve cross-subsystem issues
• Support type approval and certification processes; provide technical assistance to customers
• Deliver progress reports to senior stakeholders and maintain ongoing product delivery
• Contribute to department processes and engineering standards

Key requirements

• Significant experience in RF design (including discrete design)
• Strong understanding of RF systems, design, simulation, testing, and conformance
• Hands-on design experience and practical engineering intuition
• Excellent communication and time-management skills with track record of delivering on schedule
• Proven mentoring and leadership of team members
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics/Telecommunications or related field
• Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate internal/external resources
• Full, clean driving license and willingness to travel
