As a Partner-level Marine Solicitor in Exeter, you take a lead role in a Tier 1 marine team, handling ports and harbour law, regulatory matters, and complex disputes. You will grow and leverage an established client portfolio, mentor colleagues, and help drive the practice’s continued growth. Responsibilities

• Lead complex marine matters and disputes independently
• Mentor and support junior lawyers
• Develop and deepen client relationships across the ports and marine sector
• Handle ports and harbour law, regulatory matters, and commercial/logistics agreements
• Oversee coastal or port infrastructure and development projects
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to deliver solutions
• Contribute to business development and growth of the practice pipeline

Key requirements

• 7+ years PQE in marine law
• Strong technical expertise and commercial awareness
• Genuine passion for the ports and marine industry
