Responsibilities

• Manage a busy caseload of contentious probate matters
• Support the litigation team through business development and networking
• Attend court/conferences with or without counsel as required
• Liaise with internal and external third parties
• Supervise junior colleagues
• Exposure to related litigation areas (landlord/tenant, contracts, building disputes, debt recovery, professional negligence)

Key requirements

• Proven experience advising on contentious probate matters
• Solicitor or Legal Executive
• 5+ PQE
• Ability to support the litigation team and engage in business development
• Court and conference liaison skills
• Supervisory experience with junior staff
