Principal Consultant – (Senior Manager) Finance Transformation

Overview

In this role, you will drive finance transformation programmes for large financial institutions, focusing on operating model redesign, process improvements, and strategic technology delivery. You will partner with CFOs and senior finance leaders to implement finance strategies, controls, and regulatory reporting improvements, while leveraging AI-enabled methods responsibly. You will collaborate with technology teams to embed automation and AI into finance processes and operating models. This is a hands-on, impact-driven opportunity to shape finance functions at scale within Capco’s FRRF practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead finance transformation programmes across regulatory change, technology, process optimisation, and operating model redesign.
• Partner with CFOs and senior executives to implement finance strategies and strengthen controls.
• Define business requirements and manage end-to-end delivery for finance, treasury, and regulatory initiatives with governance for AI-assisted tools.
• Design and implement stress testing frameworks for credit, market, and liquidity risk to support regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with technology teams to embed digital, automation, and AI-enabled solutions into finance processes and architectures.

Key requirements

• Experience delivering finance transformation in financial services or consulting.
• Strong knowledge of finance operating models, accounting processes, regulatory change, and financial reporting.
• Experience with finance technology implementations (ERP, subledgers, automation, optimization).
• Analytical problem-solving with use of approved AI tools and sound professional judgement.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication, with ability to influence CFOs and executives.
