Finance Transformation Consultant

Overview

In this role you support finance and corporate services transformations for public and private sector clients, guiding strategy, operating models, and delivery. You work within PA’s Sourcing, IT Strategy and Corporate Services capability to drive back-office improvements and ERP implementations. You combine finance expertise with cross-functional collaboration to shape digital programs and realise benefits. Responsibilities

• Lead or support finance strategy development, operating model design, process and system design, and transformation planning
• Manage finance system developments and implementations, including vendor and Systems Integrator oversight
• Optimize finance processes with digital capabilities (Oracle Fusion Cloud, SAP S/4HANA, Microsoft D365) and AI technologies
• Provide client-side advisory across the full transformation lifecycle
• Support change management, employee engagement, training, and benefits realisation

Key requirements

• Experience in finance transformation programmes or finance performance improvement projects
• Strong consulting skills and stakeholder engagement
• Knowledge of finance platforms (Oracle, SAP, MS D365 or similar)
• Ability to work across sectors and adapt to varied client environments
• Experience in finance process and systems design, data migration, and reporting strategy
• Qualified or part qualified accountant or significant experience in finance roles involving line management, project delivery or change support
