Overview
In this role you will support the 24/7 trading team by overseeing live energy storage assets and ensuring optimal dispatch. You will collaborate with traders, technology teams, and clients to monitor performance, resolve issues, and confirm trades. The role includes asset planning, reporting, and incident escalation to keep operations reliable across markets. You will work in shifts from Oxford, contributing to Habitat Energy’s mission to unlock renewable assets and deliver strong client returns. Responsibilities
- Live Operations monitoring of energy storage and renewable assets during office hours and on a shift rota
- Respond to asset issues promptly per escalation policies
- Trading and Optimisation Support including ensuring correct nomination of traded positions
- Asset Planning and Reporting: track warranties, inform clients, audit delivery against requirements
- Performance Monitoring, Reporting and Analysis: analyze operational and commercial data, update databases, generate incident reports
- Coordinate with internal technology teams to ensure issues are tracked and resolved
- Maintain asset status information and ensure clear communication with traders and counterparties
Key requirements
