Senior Project Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead a small IT team through a technology transformation, managing a portfolio of 3–4 IT projects from initiation to go-live. You will steer a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central transformation, balancing technical delivery with business readiness. You’ll work directly with stakeholders to refine requirements and enhance governance, processes, and reporting. This is a hands-on, ownership-driven position in a global organisation undergoing change, offering visibility and broad impact.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of 3–4 IT projects from initiation to implementation and go-live
• Lead the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central transformation programme
• Ensure technical delivery aligns with business readiness and user adoption
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, challenge and document requirements (when BA resource is unavailable)
• Introduce and continuously improve project governance, processes, reporting and controls
• Maintain RAID logs and provide clear, concise project reporting

Key requirements

• Strong experience delivering IT implementation and business application projects
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Hands-on requirements gathering and business analysis
• Experience establishing or improving project governance, processes and controls
• Confidence managing budgets, resources, risks, dependencies and third‑party suppliers
• Understanding of business readiness, change and user adoption
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is highly advantageous
• Exposure to manufacturing or agriculture preferred, other sectors considered
• Familiarity with Power Platform, Azure DevOps or MS Project is beneficial
