Litigation Solicitor

Overview

In this role you will manage a diverse civil and commercial litigation caseload within a supportive, collaborative firm in Warwickshire. You will handle matters from instruction to resolution, including drafting pleadings and statements, court appearances, and settlement negotiations. You will provide clear, commercially focused advice while maintaining strong client care and file management. Responsibilities

• Oversee a diverse civil and commercial litigation caseload
• Handle contractual, debt, property, professional negligence, company/partnership, and probate disputes
• Draft pleadings, witness statements, and correspondence; represent clients in court
• Lead settlement negotiations and explore ADR/mediation where appropriate
• Manage own caseload with compliance, commercial awareness, and high-quality client service
• Provide pragmatic, commercially focused advice and develop strategic solutions for clients
• Support business development and contribute to department growth

Key requirements

• 3+ years’ PQE in civil and/or commercial litigation
