SAP ABAP S/4 Hana Architect – UK

Overview

In this role you drive SAP S/4HANA architecture and ABAP delivery, shaping high-quality designs and technical feasibility across the SDLC. You collaborate with offshore/onshore teams and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions. You will leverage S/4HANA, RAP, REST/OData and Adobe forms to enable modern, performant ERP capabilities. Responsibilities

• Engage stakeholders and guide architectural design across the software development lifecycle
• Create high-quality design artifacts and assess technical feasibility
• Collaborate with offshore/onshore teams to deliver solutions
• Support and troubleshoot SAP-related issues across S/4HANA and Fiori landscapes
• Participate in performance tuning, runtime analysis, and capacity planning
• Contribute to SAP Concur, AP/AR, Billing and Invoicing domains
• Work with ABAP S/4HANA including workflows, AMDP, CDS, BRF+, BOPF, and extensibility
• Utilize tools like Eclipse and ADLC for development and lifecycle management

Key requirements

• S/4HANA development expertise with CDS views, REST API, and OData V2/V4 (RAP) and SOAP
• Adobe form development (classical and fragment-based) with JavaScript
• Fiori troubleshooting, AIF, and performance tuning
• Techno-functional SAP Concur, Accounts Payable/Receivables, Billing and Invoicing
• Strong ABAP knowledge in S/4HANA, including Workflows, AMDP, CDS, BRF+, BOPF
• REST API, SOAP API, OData; In-app extensibility and Adobe forms
• Experienced with ALV, Remote Function Call, Smart Forms, OSS Notes, and related ABAP tooling
• ABAP runtime analysis tools (SE30, ST05, ST22) for performance improvements
• Eclipse and ADLC experience
• Life sciences/pharma domain experience (preferred) and multilingual ability (English mandatory)
