Associate Director (Electrical) / Team Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead the electrical design function within a building services team in London, driving high-quality delivery on large-scale projects. You will mentor a 10-strong Electrical Building Services Design team, manage resources, scheduling, QA and financials, and shape client relationships at director level. You’ll work with other discipline directors to align project outcomes with the firm’s reputation for large, high-profile work. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a 10-person Electrical Building Services Design team
• Oversee QA, resource management, work scheduling, and project financials
• Lead interviewing and mentoring of team members
• Collaborate with other discipline directors to manage multi-disciplinary projects
• Maintain and develop client relationships at project director level
• Contribute to management of building services design projects from inception to delivery

Key requirements

• Project Lead experience in building services design
• ≥10 years’ experience in building services design
• Experience assisting with team management
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Passion for sustainability in the built environment
• Chartered Engineer (preferred but not required)
• Ideally a member of IET or CIBSE (preferred)
