Structured Credit Middle Office (Associate)

Overview

In this role, you support the Structured Credit Middle Office within Global Middle Office, focusing on Exotic Credit trading and structuring activities. You’ll oversee trade bookings, lifecycle events, and governance to ensure accurate risk and P&L reporting. You work closely with Front Office and support functions to improve processes and controls. You will help translate complex term sheets into robust middle-office workflows, enabling efficient trading and settlements. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role shaping controls and operational excellence in a fast-paced credit desk.

Responsibilities

• Review Front Office trade bookings against term sheets and blotters
• Manage trade lifecycle events, such as call events and triggers, and complex cashflow management
• Develop and implement governance controls for bespoke structured products
• Provide full operational support to Front Office across documentation, settlements, valuations, and collateral management
• Coordinate with regional and offshore teams and other functions to deliver process and system enhancements
• Produce T0 P&L flash and perform risk-based P&L attribution and commentary
• Create and review daily trading activity reports
• Identify and close control gaps through process improvements
