Senior Estimator

Overview

In this Senior Estimator role, you will join a busy preconstruction team in Milton Keynes to drive cost plans and estimates across mixed projects up to 20m. You will lead the estimating process, collaborate with design, commercial and operations teams, and guide junior colleagues. The position fits a regional contractor with a stable workflow and growth opportunities. You help shape competitive pricing and ensure robust commercial oversight, contributing to a predictable pipeline of repeat work. Responsibilities

• Prepare cost plans, tenders and estimates
• Lead the estimating process across multiple projects
• Collaborate with design, commercial and operations teams
• Liaise with supply chain partners to secure competitive pricing
• Provide guidance to an Assistant Estimator
• Support junior team members where required

Key requirements

• Experienced Estimator in the construction industry
• Background with a main contractor on new build or refurbishment schemes
• Self-directed, organized and highly motivated
• Capable of working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
