Overview

In this Electrical Engineering Lead role, you own the electrical design, coordination, and delivery for a large hyperscale data centre. You will lead the electrical engineering function, mentor engineers, and ensure compliance and quality across the project. You work closely with the Project Director and client to deliver technically sound and safe electrical systems. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Electrical Engineering function across the project
• Provide regular reports to the Project Director and client
• Ensure designs, submittals, and handover documentation are technically compliant
• Review and issue Technical Submittals, RFIs, and coordinate technical queries
• Oversee and mentor a team of Electrical Engineers and Package Managers
• Manage vendor and supply chain engagement throughout the project lifecycle
• Support commissioning activities and ensure electrical systems meet performance standards
• Monitor, track, and report engineering progress against milestones

Key requirements

• Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or equivalent discipline
• Proven track record in electrical engineering within construction or data centre sector
• Experience leading large-scale or hyperscale data centre projects (highly desirable)
• Excellent technical knowledge of electrical systems, compliance, and QA/QC procedures
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and interface with clients and stakeholders
