Director – Forensic Accounting & Disputes

Overview

In this role you will lead complex forensic accounting and dispute engagements for law firms, corporates and other clients, shaping methodologies and delivering expert reports. You’ll drive growth of the disputes practice, developing your market profile and mentoring colleagues. You will work across lifecycle stages and may provide or support oral testimony, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to expand the firm’s advisory platform. This is a high-impact opportunity to influence both engagements and business development within a growing, entrepreneurial firm.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex forensic accounting and dispute assignments for diverse clients
• Assess claims and determine appropriate methodologies
• Direct financial analysis and prepare expert reports
• Support or provide oral evidence in hearings or arbitrations
• Develop and grow the practice by originating opportunities and building client relationships
• Mentor junior professionals and help recruit talent
• Manage multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate with law firms and Counsel

Key requirements

• Significant forensic accounting and disputes experience
• Strong damages, quantum and/or contentious valuation expertise
• Experience preparing or contributing to expert reports
• Understanding of litigation and/or international arbitration
• Experience managing complex assignments and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong relationships within the disputes and legal community
• Clear, persuasive communication of complex financial matters
• Commercial mindset and interest in developing business
