Consultant/Senior Consultant, Organisational Resilience Reputation, Crisis and Resilience

Overview

In this role you will help clients across industries build resilience to strategic, operational and technology risks. You work with senior client executives and cross-functional teams within Deloitte’s Reputation, Crisis and Resilience (RCR) team to protect reputational value and manage disruption. You shape large-scale resilience transformations, readiness for major events, and crisis frameworks, contributing across sectors. The role offers exposure to regulatory thinking and a range of industries, with hybrid working in London or Manchester. You’ll contribute to innovative, impact-driven resilience programs that matter for clients and society.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement large-scale resilience transformation programmes to meet regulatory/government expectations across sectors
• Lead operational readiness programmes for major events and change initiatives
• Conduct resilience testing, including scenario stress testing
• Design crisis and incident frameworks
• Provide live response support during client crises and incidents
• Perform post-event reviews following high-profile incidents
• Collaborate with senior client executives and cross-functional teams across industries

Key requirements

• Sound understanding of resilience, including regulatory thinking and practical implications
• Exposure to industry requirements (financial services, public sector)
• Knowledge of how complex organisations operate, including dependencies and third-parties
• Strong project management skills
• Strong communication skills
• Experience working with external clients and building internal relationships
• Ability to travel and work additional hours as needed
• Experience in one or more resilience disciplines (or equivalent: Operational Risk, Business Continuity Management, Enterprise Risk Management, Third-party Risk Management, Supply Chain Resilience, Crisis Management, Contingency Planning, IT Service Continuity/Disaster Recovery, Cloud Resilience, Scenario risk modelling)
