Overview

As Director of Engineering, you will lead engineering execution and practices to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions aligned with business goals. You will partner with architecture, product, and leadership to translate strategy into delivery plans, raise engineering maturity, and foster a culture of ownership and continuous improvement. You’ll drive modern engineering practices, oversee complex systems, and ensure security, performance, and reliability across the ICT stack. Responsibilities

• Define and advocate the software development lifecycle and engineering vision aligned with strategy
• Translate strategic goals into scalable engineering solutions and delivery plans
• Champion modern practices (CI/CD, IaC, microservices, cloud-native, DevOps, test automation, AI)
• Oversee complex system architecture and platform evolution with enterprise coherence
• Ensure technical quality, security, and performance across products/services
• Support hiring, mentoring, and career development within engineering teams
• Drive KPI-based oversight (velocity, quality, uptime, cost efficiency) and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Architecture, Security, and Infrastructure teams; engage executive stakeholders
• Represent engineering in external forums and vendor evaluations
• Foster ownership culture and cross-stack collaboration

Key requirements

• Solid experience in engineering roles across lifecycle stages
• Proven track record delivering large-scale, cross-enterprise solutions
• Broad expertise across cloud technologies, DevOps, Agile, SDLC, data-driven decision making
• Problem-solving with a systems-oriented mindset
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
• Hands-on with modern technologies and techniques
