Overview

As a Senior Consultant in Baringa’s CFO Advisory, you help clients improve finance and treasury performance through operating model, data-driven decision making, and sustainability integration. You partner with cross-functional teams to transform processes, enable enterprise-wide insights, and address regulatory and market expectations. The role blends advisory rigor with hands-on delivery, shaping finance-enabled transformation at scale. You’ll work in a collaborative, people-first culture that values impact and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Review operating models, technology and change strategies across finance and treasury (operating model transformation, technology/data/ERP strategy, people/talent/change)
• Enable data-based decision making with finance-led insights, planning, forecasting and scenario modelling
• Embed sustainability within finance, manage investor relations/financing, and support carbon budgeting and disclosures
• Identify efficiencies and opportunities to improve end-to-end finance processes and drive automation
• Work cross-functionally with clients to deliver finance transformation programmes and technology-enabled change
• Take ownership of project work, articulate point of view, and deliver results in client-facing environments
• Leverage ERP/EPM capabilities to shape finance operations and performance management
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and contribute to sales or expansion opportunities

Key requirements

• Finance and treasury transformation experience
• Consultancy background or project-focused industry experience (FS or non-FS)
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• Ability to operate across full project lifecycle and deliver in challenging client environments
• Tier 1 ERP experience preferred
• Understanding of finance processes and change management
