Client Onboarding KYC Associate

Overview

In this role you will help ensure compliant onboarding of clients within a global broking environment. You will work within the compliance onboarding team to review KYC/AML documentation and prepare client packs for risk assessment. You’ll collaborate with sales and clients to resolve onboarding questions and maintain accurate static data. You’ll support management on applications and contribute to project work, driving timely, accurate client onboarding. This role offers exposure to the end-to-end onboarding process in a regulated financial market.

Responsibilities

• Forensic review of client documentation under FCA KYC and AML rules
• Prepare comprehensive client application packs for AML, Compliance, Credit and Risk reviews
• Support management and respond to client and internal documentation requirements
• Liaise with sales teams to resolve onboarding questions and issues
• Liaise with clients to resolve onboarding questions and issues
• Create and maintain accurate client information and static data in internal systems
• Assist with project work as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Key requirements

• Five years KYC and AML experience in financial markets
• 2 years progressive experience with industry rules and regulations
• Experience with internal and external systems; DOCS system familiarity is useful
• Strong written and verbal communication for client and internal requests
• Self-motivated, well-organised, able to meet deadlines
• Strong organisational and analytical skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent industry experience
