Dermatology Doctors – GPwER / SAS / Consultant

Overview

In this role you will support flexible dermatology service delivery across community and insourcing settings. You will work within established clinical services to provide expert dermatology care, with regular sessions and administrative support to fit around other commitments. You’ll diagnose, manage and triage a range of dermatology conditions, including skin cancer referrals, often in a community/outpatient context. This is an opportunity to shape accessible dermatology care closer to patients’ homes while benefiting from multidisciplinary backing.

Responsibilities

• Independently assess, diagnose and manage dermatology patients across general presentations
• Triage and refer onward for suspected skin cancers as appropriate
• Participate in additional clinic types when available (patch testing, phototherapy, scrub/procedural clinics)
• Ensure efficient clinic activity and maintain strong communication with patients and the care team
• Engage with teledermatology opportunities where required
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary and administrative staff to deliver accessible care

Key requirements

• Appropriate UK registration and licence to practise
• UK credentials and indemnity
• Demonstrable Dermatology experience
• Ability to work autonomously within a community or outpatient environment
• Strong clinical decision-making skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently within the expected clinic activity
