BCG Vantage Global Senior Director – AI Cost Advantage

Overview

In this role you drive the global BCG Vantage Cost agenda, shaping strategy, assets, and services for cost transformation. You lead a senior team, align across Practice Areas, and ensure high-quality delivery and client impact. You’ll integrate AI into offers and coordinate with global leaders to scale cost-focused solutions. The opportunity combines strategic leadership with hands-on deployment of tools and cases in a complex, matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the BCG Vantage Cost agenda and oversee strategy, assets, services, and professionals across functional areas.
• Own performance metrics for cost initiatives, including case billability, P&L, client satisfaction, and team engagement.
• Coordinate with Project Helix and integrate AI into offers; ensure knowledge and tools are shared across Practice Areas.
• Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders inside Cost and across Practice Areas to ensure consistent delivery quality.
• Act as global leader of the team, mentoring senior BCG Vantage members and aligning Cost topic with client needs and new offerings.
• Collaborate with Topic Leadership and Regional Leaders to drive cross-practice initiatives and global leadership involvement.
• Direct hands-on deployment of tools and AI-enabled assets in case teams and client work.
• Contribute to the Vantage Leadership Team and cross-Practice/Area initiatives; participate in global strategic programs.

Key requirements

• 15+ years of industry experience or 8+ years of consulting in a relevant sector
• Bachelor’s Degree; advanced degree preferred
• End-to-end cost transformation experience with holistic view across cost levers
• Change management experience preferred
• Business, line & project management experience
• Experience accountable for business metrics in professional services, including P&L
• International experience strongly preferred
