Highways Supervisor

Overview

In this role you will oversee highways projects for a leading contractor across London, focusing on reactive maintenance and large-scale works. You will work with Local Authorities to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and in line with safety standards. You’ll supervise on-site activities, coordinate resources, and support CPP processes to manage risk and progress. This is a hands-on leadership position with a strong emphasis on reliability, quality, and customer-focused service.

Pay / Benefits

• Salary between 45000 – 55000

Responsibilities

• Site inductions and staff briefings
• Assisting in maintenance and preparation of CPP
• Monitoring progress within the agreed programme
• Monitoring risk assessments and method statements
• Monitoring resourcing levels and adjusting where necessary

Key requirements

• Driving Licence
• CSCS (Gold card)
• SSSTS or SMSMTS
• Highways and High speed road network experience
• NRSWA (Street works supervisory accreditation)
• Main contractor experience
• LA experience
• Strong commercial experience
• Experience of working on large scale projects
