Overview
As a Senior Manager in Deloitte’s Digital Banking Solutions, you will shape technology strategies and drive transformational banking programs for a range of clients, from traditional banks to fintechs. You’ll work within a cross-functional team of banking specialists to design modern, scalable solutions and guide delivery through agile practices. You’ll lead thought leadership, mentor junior staff, and strengthen client relationships while aligning with Deloitte’s values and accelerators. This role offers the chance to influence strategic technology choices and delivery across major banking domains.

Responsibilities
- Shape and assess technology strategies and roadmaps for clients
- Gather and manage requirements with agile tools, collaborating with Product Owners, Solution Architects, developers and Programme Managers
- Execute technical business analysis across the lifecycle: discovery, design, build, testing and go-live
- Drive data‑driven decision making and process optimization in design
- Contribute to the BA practice through thought leadership and capability development
- Mentor and coach junior team members to grow into architects
- Build and nurture client relationships across IT, Operations and Risk
- Collaborate with technology partners to stay aligned with innovations
- Support pre-sales, bid preparation and client presentations to develop propositions
- Support the definition and adoption of Deloitte accelerators and standards
Key requirements
- Experience with Next Gen Core Banking Solutions (10x, Thought Machine, Mambu, Temenos, FIS or equivalent)
- Core system modernization experience with track record of delivering change in banking/financial services
- Experience in complex systems integration programs, including core integrations and legacy migrations
- End-user focused requirements definition and technical design in regulated environments, with agile practices
- Ability to translate architectural concepts into designs with modular architecture approaches
- Strong stakeholder engagement across internal and client teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Independent thinker with collaborative mindset
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Experience with core banking modernization and integration
- Architectural approaches including modular architecture, cloud, API/microservices
- Data modelling and UML
