Senior Quantity Surveyor

Overview

In this role you will lead the commercial delivery of a new build RC frame residential flagship in Central Birmingham. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy and report to Director level, overseeing procurement and overall commercial activities on the project. The position includes building and mentoring a commercial team, with the option to recruit and develop staff below you. A Residential Developer or Main Contractor background is suitable, with a salary to circa 85,000 p.a. plus car allowance, bonus and benefits.

Responsibilities

• oversee all commercial activities on the project from procurement onwards
• lead, recruit, develop and manage the project commercial team
• manage procurement, cost control and financial reporting for the project
• support senior leadership in commercial strategy and risk management
