Senior Capital Allowances Consultant

Overview

As a Senior Consultant in AECOM’s Fiscal Incentives team in London, you will own the delivery of capital allowances claims for portfolio clients. You’ll work with colleagues across the business to grow client relationships and expand capabilities in related tax relief services. You’ll manage multiple claims, ensure quality and compliance, and mentor your team while pursuing professional development. Responsibilities

• Engage with and manage delivery of capital allowances claims for portfolio clients
• Liaise with colleagues to develop new client relationships and grow the service
• Lead project delivery, including portfolio management and meeting deadlines
• Support HMRC enquiries and ensure compliance of claims
• Conduct property surveys and prepare compliant capital allowances claims using in-house software
• Develop capability in related services (land remediation relief, VAT, international depreciation)
• Collaborate with senior team to cultivate sales from new and existing clients
• Contribute to quality control and project management processes
• Maintain and develop technical knowledge and professional qualifications

Key requirements

• Experience of the UK capital allowances regime
• Experience in property, finance or construction environment
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Understanding of construction technology and property finance
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
