Overview

As an AWS Pre-Sales Solutions Architect at Deloitte, you will shape cloud transformation opportunities by designing AWS-based solutions and leading technical discovery with clients. You’ll collaborate with account teams and AWS stakeholders across the sales lifecycle to define strategies and articulate business value. You will ensure secure, scalable architectures aligned to client goals and guide proposals and governance. This role offers meaningful impact within a collaborative, innovation-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end AWS solution architectures aligned to client goals and transformation objectives
• Engage with clients through workshops and discovery sessions to capture requirements
• Develop strategies, roadmaps, architectures, and business cases for cloud adoption and modernization
• Define conceptual, logical, and physical architectures including security and operations considerations
• Ensure alignment with AWS Well-Architected framework, security standards and compliance
• Collaborate with account teams to identify, qualify and shape opportunities; support full sales lifecycle
• Lead technical responses to RFPs/RFIs/RFQs and develop solution narratives and artefacts
• Participate in client meetings, executive briefings, and solution demonstrations
• Provide technical leadership and governance throughout opportunity lifecycle; transition to delivery
• Promote innovation through adoption of emerging AWS technologies and patterns

Key requirements

• Proven experience designing and architecting solutions on AWS
• Strong knowledge of AWS services across compute, storage, networking, security, data, analytics, integration and serverless
• Experience developing cloud transformation strategies, migration approaches, and modernization roadmaps
• Consulting, pre-sales or professional services experience; ability to shape opportunities from qualification to closure
• Experience crafting technical proposals, SOWs, and bid responses; able to engage with C-suite and technical stakeholders
• Knowledge of modern data platforms, analytics solutions and cloud-native architectures
• Understanding of AWS AI/ML services, including Bedrock and SageMaker
• Excellent communication, presenting and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead workshops and architecture discussions and influence architectural decisions
• Experience working across multiple industries and enterprise-scale transformations
