Managing Consultant – E&U – Design Engineering and Science

Overview

In this role you shape and launch new energy propositions within PA’s Energy and Utilities practice, leading strategic growth and client engagements. You will guide multidisciplinary teams delivering high-impact science and engineering solutions across Carbon Capture, Sustainable Fuels, Electrification and Water, partnering with clients as a trusted advisor. You’ll drive business development, expand trusted relationships, and accelerate deployment of sustainable technologies. Responsibilities

• Shape and launch new service propositions in the Energy Transition sector
• Lead business development, own outcomes, and secure high-impact client work
• Collaborate with clients as a trusted advisor to accelerate deployment of sustainable technologies
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams delivering solutions across Carbon Capture, Sustainable Fuels, Electrification and Water
• Support team growth through coaching, knowledge-sharing, and creating development opportunities
• Contribute to PA’s values and culture through inclusive leadership and knowledge sharing

Key requirements

• Significant experience leading complex science and/or engineering development and advisory services in the Energy Transition sector
• Proven consulting and commercial experience, within a consultancy or equivalent internal advisory role
• Strong client relationship management and business development skills with a track record of winning work
• Experience in Carbon Capture, Sustainable Fuels, Electrification, or Water value chains
• Established network of senior decision-makers and potential clients in the Energy Transition sector
