Shared Lives Carer

Overview

In this role you provide care, support and accommodation within a family setting in Barnsley. You may work full-time or on a respite, day care or sessional basis, helping individuals live meaningful lives with your family. The role is freelance/self-employed, with ongoing training and support from the Shared Lives team. DBS checks are required, and overseas checks may apply for candidates who lived abroad.

Key requirements

• experience in care (professional or personal)
• flexibility and a person-centred approach
• Enhanced DBS check and overseas check if applicable
