AI Engineer

Overview

As an AI Engineer at Avanade, you design, build, and deliver agentic AI solutions using the latest Microsoft technologies for client outcomes. You work hands-on with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into secure, scalable, production-ready AI systems. You will shape solutions during workshops, support pre-sales, and contribute to reusable patterns that advance Avanade’s AI capabilities. This role offers the chance to impact client success by applying practical engineering practices and Microsoft platform depth.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand business challenges and identify opportunities for agentic AI value
• Design, build, and deploy AI agents using Microsoft technologies (e.g., Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI, Power Platform)
• Integrate AI solutions with enterprise systems, data sources, and workflows
• Contribute to solution and technical design, ensuring security, governance, scalability, and operations are met
• Participate in client workshops, technical discussions, and solution shaping sessions
• Support pre-sales activities with technical input, design, and proofs-of-concept
• Develop reusable assets, patterns, and accelerators to strengthen AI and automation capabilities
• Stay current with emerging Microsoft AI technologies and contribute to internal AI & Data communities
