The Role

The role of the Deputy Manager is to assist the Manager in the day‑to‑day running of the service and to deputise for the Manager in their absence. There is also an expectancy of being part of the Essex on‑call rota.

What we’re looking for

  • Managerial experience in Social Care sector

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Manager with the day‑to‑day running of the service, deputising fully in their absence.
  • Provide day‑to‑day supervision, support and guidance to support workers, and take part in the Essex on‑call rota.
  • Contribute to person‑centred support plans, risk assessments and reviews for the people we support.
  • Help ensure compliance with, safeguarding procedures and Bridge Support’s policies.
  • Support with staff rotas, inductions and ongoing training to maintain safe staffing levels.
  • Build positive working relationships with families, commissioners and other professionals involved in people’s care.
