Assistant Manager, Food Retail & Service

Walter Smith Fine Foods Ltd in Birmingham is seeking a full-time Assistant Manager at Melbick’s Garden Centre. You will support the Store Manager in daily shop operations, supervise staff, manage schedules, and maintain product quality and presentation.

You will help manage stock levels, ensure food safety and hygiene compliance, engage with customers, resolve issues, drive sales and support promotions. The role also involves coaching team members and contributing to service improvements.
