Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the friendly Intensive Care Unit team at Whipps Cross Hospital. We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurses who are committed to delivering high quality care to critically ill patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective and compassionate care to patients requiring intensive care and high dependency support.
• Work closely with the multidisciplinary team and be supported to develop specialist knowledge and skills required to care for this complex patient group.
• Provide direct care to critically ill patients under the supervision of senior colleagues, while acquiring and developing specialist skills and knowledge to meet the needs of this patient group.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with a live NMC registration and recent acute care experience.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to recognise and respond to deteriorating patients.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development.
