About you
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and pricing
- Skilled in interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software
- Excellent organisational, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple tenders effectively
What you’ll do
- Prepare detailed and competitive cost estimates and tender submissions for various construction projects
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements to determine scope
- Gather and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
- Measure quantities and prepare bills of quantities when required
- Identify project risks and suggest value engineering solutions
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams throughout the tender process
- Monitor market conditions to ensure competitive pricing and maintain up-to-date cost databases
- Support contract handovers post-bid success and contribute to continuous improvement of estimating processes
