Sales Assistant – Aberdeen

About the Role

Sales Assistant – Temporary contract at Smyths Toys Superstores. Pay is £12.90 per hour for staff over 21 and £11.00 per hour for staff under 21. The role is full‑time, 7 days a week, with flexible scheduling including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service.
• Ascertain customer needs and wants.
• Work as part of a fast‑paced and dynamic team.
• Keep the store clean and tidy.
• Pack shelves and merchandise.
• Work the delivery and complete price changes.
• Operate the tills.
• Learn about and stay up‑to‑date with product range to assist customers.
• Maintain store presentation and fulfil daily targets.
• Be flexible to work all days of the week, including weekends.

The Ideal Candidate

Retail experience in the following areas is highly desirable, but not essential:

• Outdoor/Bikes
• Nursery
• Software & Gaming
• Backdoor/Warehouse
