French teacher – Temporary – Hull

Are you a confident French teacher looking for short or long term temporary supply work in the Hull area? We currently have an opportunity within a vibrant Hull secondary school for a qualified French Teacher who is passionate about languages and supporting young people.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging French lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Encourage students to develop confidence in speaking, reading, and writing French.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
• Contribute to the wider school community and language enrichment activities.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in French or a related subject.
• Experience teaching French at secondary level.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• A passion for languages and engaging young learners.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.
