Woodland House Private Day Nursery is located in the village of Beoley near Redditch, Worcestershire. The nursery opened its doors in January 2013 and offers modern childcare facilities in a traditional ‘school house’ setting. The role involves delivering activities for children while taking care of the children’s developmental and personal needs.
What You’ll Do
As an apprentice, you will be a key member of the nursery team. Your duties may include:
- Planning and delivering fun and educational activities with the children
- Playing alongside and with children to support their play
- Contributing to children’s records through observation
- Assisting with the supervision of children at rest times and at mealtimes
- Contributing to creating a safe, happy environment for the children
- Ensuring the play area is clean and tidy at all times
- Working alongside outside agencies in supporting the children
