About the Role
VGC Group is recruiting for a Multi Skilled Operative with Dumper Driver experience to join a project based in Saxmundham, Suffolk. This is a great opportunity for a reliable and hard-working Operative looking for work, and to gain experience with a Tier 1 client.
We are looking for someone who can work well as part of a team, and support site operations to keep the project running safely and efficiently. The successful candidate will support a variety of groundworks and site duties and will ideally hold a couple of plant tickets to assist with machinery where required.
Pay Rate: £20.47 per hour PAYEHours: Monday – Friday 7am-5pmStart Date: ASAPLodge and Travel is not available for this role
Responsibilities
- Assisting trades and site management with labouring duties
- Keeping the site clean, tidy, and safe at all times
- Use of company vehicle to drive between sites
- Dumper Driver duties
- Supporting with general site set-up and maintenance
- Following all site health and safety procedures
- Carrying out any other general site duties as required
Qualifications
- A valid CSCS Card / CPCS Card (with applicable Dumper Certification)
- Previous experience in this role or similar
- A good work ethic and positive attitude
- The ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Good punctuality and reliability
- Right to work in the UK
- Full, Clean UK Driving Licence
