Infrastructure Engineer

Overview

My client is hiring for an Infrastructure Engineer to work in the team responsible for designing, implementing, integrating, and maintaining the firm’s large-scale global physical and virtual server infrastructure.

Contract until the end of 2027

Hybrid – 3 days in office (Glasgow)

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, integrate, and maintain the firm’s large-scale global physical and virtual server infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Strong Linux and Python engineering skills
• Automated and manual testing approaches
• IaC and configuration management tools such as Ansible, SaltStack, or similar
• VMware ESXi, virtualization platforms, or private cloud infrastructure

Other requirements

• Candidates will be required to go through background checks before commencing contract.
• Must be eligible to live and work in the specified work location. Some occasional travel may be required. Only successful candidates will be contacted.
