Business Studies Teacher Batley

About the role:

Justteachers is supporting a secondary school in Batley to appoint a Business Studies Teacher starting in September 2026 on a full‑time and long‑term basis.

The department has a positive atmosphere where staff work closely together to support students and encourage them to achieve their best.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Business Studies lessons
• Support students in achieving excellent academic outcomes
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities
• Monitor and assess student progress effectively

Pre-requisites:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• A degree in Business, Economics, or a related subject
• Experience teaching Business Studies at secondary level
• Strong classroom management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• A commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
• Two school based references
