Role and Responsibilities
As a Child and Family Support Worker within our CAMHS Therapeutic Education Service, you’ll play a vital role in supporting children and young people with complex mental health needs. Working as part of a skilled multidisciplinary team, you’ll help create opportunities for young people to thrive emotionally, socially and educationally. This is a rewarding and varied role where no two days are the same.
You will support children and young people within therapeutic education settings, family homes, foster placements and residential environments, helping them build resilience, confidence and the skills they need to succeed. Alongside this, you’ll provide practical and emotional support to families and carers, helping them navigate challenges and strengthen relationships.
